While a good skincare routine will look slightly different depending on the individual, there are a few steps we recommend EVERYONE start implementing.
Step #1 – Start Moisturizing
Seriously, if you’re not moisturizing, you need to start. Not only will your skin feel softer, it will also improve your complexion, and prevent the appearance of fine lines.
Step #2 – Be Careful Of The Sun
While you shouldn’t avoid the sun altogether, you really do need to be careful about how much time you spend catching some rays. Remember, exposure to UV rays is directly tied to a loss of collagen, and is a major cause of wrinkles and premature ageing.
You should also seriously consider a proper sunscreen if you’re planning to spend a lot of time outdoors.
Step #3 – Stop Smoking And Drinking
Along with prolonged sun exposure, cigarettes and excessive alcohol consumption are absolutely TERRIBLE for your skin. They’re one of the leading causes of inflammation, a process that’s responsible for the denigration of the collagen and elastin proteins that keep you looking young.

Step #4 – Eat Better
While drinking, smoking and burning your skin are by far the worst causes of inflammation, eating a poor diet certainly doesn’t help. If you haven’t already, start avoiding processed foods, and start replacing them with a diet rich in vitamins, minerals and healthy fats.
